Why You Need This Data Service

Singapore air quality data is published in its original format with fixed regions but no standardized API or air quality level mapping. Using it directly for health and travel decisions requires extra processing and classification.

📡

Fragmented raw data, high integration cost

PM2.5 data is published per region with inconsistent update times and formats, so every integration needs fresh parsing and mapping.

🌫️

No automatic air quality level mapping

Raw data only provides PM2.5 values without automatic mapping to air quality levels (Good / Moderate / Unhealthy), leaving users to calculate and judge for themselves.

📊

Historical trends are hard to obtain and analyse

Raw data only covers the current point in time with no historical trend query, making long-term health and environmental analysis difficult.

🔔

Exceedance events cannot trigger alerts automatically

With no automated notifications when air quality changes, monitoring is manual and cannot trigger purifier actions or travel advice in time.

From raw monitoring data to a realtime query API

GooFuture processes Singapore air quality monitoring data in realtime and turns it into a ready-to-call API.

Data Quality & Differentiators

GooFuture cleans raw air quality monitoring data into directly queryable structured data, lowering integration and maintenance cost.

Realtime sync

PM2.5 data for all five regions syncs hourly so results reflect the latest air quality and stale information does not mislead users.

Ready when you need it

Automatic concentration classification

Automatically map PM2.5 concentration to air quality levels (Good / Moderate / Unhealthy / Very Unhealthy) — no manual calculation needed.

Readable levels

Historical trend storage

Historical data is stored hourly with 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day trend queries, giving a basis for health management and long-term analysis.

Trends available

Threshold alert pushes

Custom thresholds and Webhook pushes trigger notifications automatically when a region exceeds the limit, making device integration and operational changes easy.

Proactive alerts

Region coordinates

Each region is linked to latitude and longitude coordinates for map visualization and easy integration into navigation and location services.

Location ready

Three-Step Onboarding

From consultation to production queries in as little as a few hours.

1

Contact a consultant

Describe your air quality data needs for health, travel or IoT scenarios and confirm the region scope and alert thresholds required.

2

Confirm the plan

Both sides agree on endpoint scope, call volume, historical data period and push method. Webhook threshold alerts or custom integration are agreed at this stage.

3

Start Querying

Get an API key and docs, then query over standard REST. Technical support is provided during integration so realtime air quality data can be used directly in your app.

4

Ongoing maintenance

Data syncs hourly and exceedance events are pushed via Webhook. Your consultant keeps tracking data latency and API stability.

FAQ

Common questions about data coverage, update frequency, API capabilities and pricing.

Which regions are covered?

Covers five regions across Singapore: North, South, East, West and Central. Each region provides realtime PM2.5 concentration (micrograms per cubic metre) and air quality level.

How often is the data updated?

PM2.5 data usually updates hourly. GooFuture syncs in realtime and returns the latest concentration through the API. Historical trend data is stored hourly.

Can it integrate with smart home or air purifiers?

Yes. The API returns standardized JSON with PM2.5 concentration and air quality level for all five regions, and can push exceedance events via Webhook to trigger purifier actions or smart home scenes.

Which air quality levels are supported?

PM2.5 concentration bands: 0-55 Good, 56-150 Moderate, 151-250 Unhealthy, 251 and above Very Unhealthy.

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on monthly request volume. Basic suits low-frequency queries, Standard adds realtime queries and trend analysis, and Professional and Enterprise support higher concurrency, alert pushes and custom integration. Contact a consultant for a specific plan.

Is historical data query supported?

Historical trend queries are available from the Standard plan up. Query PM2.5 changes for a region over the past 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, returned at hourly granularity.

Are Webhook threshold alerts supported?

Webhook threshold pushes are available from the Standard plan up. When PM2.5 in a selected region exceeds your threshold, the system pushes an alert to your endpoint.

Does the data cover countries outside Singapore?

Data currently covers only the five monitoring regions across Singapore. Other countries and regions are out of scope.
